Sunbathing!

I was trying to get a picture of this bird sitting on this tree in the water. When I got home and uploaded my pictures, to my surprise there were 3 turtles "sunbathing" on this tree too!! What a surprise... I guess I didn't even see them because I was focused on the bird.

Beautiful Day!

It was such a pretty day that Liz and I took the girls to the playground for a while.

Day Off

Off to Starbucks... Stephanie wanted some sort of coffee thing... and I ended up with the food! *lol*

Anybody for a game? I've been wanting one of these Nintendo game systems for quite a while... today I got one! One of the LAST TWO in Waco... we either went or called every store we could think of and FINALLY found 2 at Sears... I got one and there is ONE left in town!

Well... along with the new game... I had to have a new TV! Soooo... here it is!

Well... I'm BROKE now... It does NOT pay for me to take a day off! *lol*

Sunrise

I was running late for work today and actually saw the sun rising on my way. This picture doesn't do justice to the color of the sky, but it was really pretty. The sun was "peeking" through the little hole in the trees in the center of the picture.

Prices are STILL going up... I heard they might get up to $4.00 before the summer is over! :( I'm going to monitor!! *lol*

This house is right across from the place I get my medicine. It's such a pretty house. I noticed it was for sale today... I think it might be a "bit" above my price range though! *lol*

What A Driveway!

I love this picture. I see this "driveway" every day on my way to work. You can't see the house from the road, but I'm assuming there is one back there. This is what I would LOVE to have. It looks like such a peaceful place! :)

What's up with the weather lately? *lol* These clouds were alot darker than they look in the picture. I think tomorrow is supposed to be nice though! :)

Cabinets & Seeds...

I didn't get to post a pic yesterday, so I'm posting 2 today. This is a display cabinet that I got at an estate sale yesterday. They wanted $395 for it, but everything was 1/2 off yesterday, so I got it. It's really pretty, and I've wanted one for a LONG TIME!!

New Family Member...

One of the newest family members... there are actually 2 of these little things! *lol* I was doing good to get 1 of them to sit still long enough to get a picture. They are miniature hampsters... although they look alot like little mice! They are kinda cute though...

Gas Prices

The rising gas prices bring back thoughts of how the "democrats", if elected, were going to make major changes; and they were going to BRING THE GAS PRICES DOWN! I don't see that happening... they are going up faster and faster. I think it just goes to show that the President can't control the gas prices... and neither can the democrats! :)

Happy Birthday Kiley!

Today Kiley is 9 years old... so hard to believe! I didn't have a B-day picture because they were in Lake Jackson, so I posted the only pic I have right now! I also posted a picture of the easter bunny... from a 5 year olds perspective! :)

I could probably count on my fingers how many times I've seen snow... and here it is April... in Texas, and it's snowing!

A Cross

I saw this cross in someone's yard on the way to work this morning. It didn't turn out real clear, but I wanted to post it anyway!

Another "trusty" flower shot! :) None of my other pictures were very good, so I went with the tulips. I actually thought this pic turned out pretty good though.

Clouds

Interesting picture of the clouds at work this morning. The lower clouds were dark and thick and moving, letting the fluffy white clouds show through. It's amazing what you start to see when you are looking for a picture to take!

Lace, Lace & More Lace

I decided to add my picture early today because I'm going to be busy "trying" to make money! I've decided to try my hand at E-bay again. *lol* I've been buying lots of lace, really cheap, at garage sales and now I'm going to try to resale it. Thus... my "LACE" picture! :)
